Mayor William Peduto and Acting Chief of Police Cameron McLay will be panelists in a community forum tonight to discuss police/community relations in the City of Pittsburgh. The panel, hosted by Essential Pittsburgh’s Paul Guggenheimer, will also include former police officer Sheldon Williams and Brandi Fisher, president of Alliance for Police Accountability. The discussion will be broadcast live on 90.5 FM, WESA.

Mayor’s Night On-Air is a continuation of a series of public events in which Mayor Peduto and his top administrators have personally fielded questions from hundreds of city residents. Previous events include Mayor’s Night On(line), “Mayor’s Night Out” in several neighborhoods throughout the city and “Mayor’s Night In” events in his City-County Building office.

If you’re interested in a free tree for the sidewalk, please fill out the application and bring it to the next SONG meeting Tuesday March 4, or give or mail it to David Zwier at 235 Atwood Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15213. There will be a site inspection for each application, because not all locations are suitable for trees.
